Over lockdown I witnessed an interesting occurrence amongst people I know with their own small business’s. There were those who sadly realised that they could no longer push forward with their own business at this time and there were those who came out stronger than before. Almost all of my friends showed creativity and determination that made their business’s flourish. I have been really impressed! One of those friend is Vanessa Strand of The Noodle Collective, a boutique events and concierge company.

I’ve been an onlooker and insider on Vanessa’s business since the beginning and she has shared ideas with me, her vision and it has grown in a short time from an idea to a successful company with some big named clients. I don’t think Vanessa even realises how well she has done on her own. During the lockdown she buckled down and built a new website, started work on a newsletter, created a new retreat and completed a course to help her run an even better business. I was fortunate to be her confidante all the way and have been let in on most of her secrets and ideas.
