Hahnemühle Bamboo is the world's first digital fine art inkjet paper made from bamboo fibres. Bamboo represents naturalness and resource-saving paper production. Particularly suitable for warm-toned colour and monochrome prints. Hahnemühle Bamboo is made from 90% Bamboo fibres and 10% cotton combining photography with environmental friendliness. This natural warm-toned, smooth surfaced and optical brightening agent free genuine art paper offers maximum ageing resistance. It guarantees an extremely large colour gamut and high colour density.

Hahnemühle Bamboo was specifically chosen for its environmental and sustainable properties and is part of Hahnemühle’s flagship green range and is the most sustainable option that I offer. The bamboo paper is made from the fast growing fibres from the bamboo plant and is completely renewable, biodegradable, grows rapidly and is sourced from ethically responsible and sustainable forests. The environmental impact is low because Bamboo demands no fertilizers, herbicides or insecticides. Furthermore bamboo requires very little water for growth therefore it can thrive without having a negative impact on water consumption.

Recommendation: Glossy in darker locations and Matte if near a window or light to avoid reflections. The matt tones down ever so slightly the colour where as the glossy has a vibrant punch. Therefore some people are happy to accept the glossy with the reflection.

Silisec® is a process used for face mounting photographs on acrylic glass.  Because the print is ”glued” to the acrylic glass, the result is a completely flat mount of the image. The whole process is dedicated to mounting the print without air bubbles or smears.  For the reverse, we use 3mm Dibond® or anodised aluminium.  All Silisec® prints are equipped with an aluminium back-frame that allows the work to be hanged.  The frame is hidden and it leaves the picture floating from the wall.
