Property Photography Rates

How pricing works

No two properties are the same. A small, empty apartment and a large chalet with a pool, spa and plenty of character take very different amounts of time to photograph well, so rather than a one-size-fits-all package, I price each shoot individually.

How it works

  1. Tell me about the property. Send me a few photos, a floor plan or a short video walkthrough, and let me know what you need: a set of listing images, or something more detailed and artistic.

  2. I’ll send you a fixed estimate. It’s based on the size of the property, the number of rooms and features, how much preparation is needed, and the style of images you’d like.

  3. No surprises. If something on the day means the shoot needs significantly more time, I’ll always talk to you first.

  4. A tidy, decluttered property photographs beautifully and takes less time to shoot.” It helps clients keep their own costs down, and it’s useful advice.

    • Studio or small apartment: from CHF 450

    • 2-3 Bedroom: CHF 600-900

    • Chalet, 3-5 bedrooms: CHF 900-1,800

    • Luxury chalet or hotel with pool, spa or extensive grounds: from CHF1,800

    • Twilight session: from CHF 360

    • Drone aerials: on request

  • Editing & retouching

    Every property shoot includes professional editing as standard:

    • Exposure blending, so rooms and window views are both perfectly exposed

    • Colour correction and white balance, for true-to-life tones

    • Straight verticals and lens correction

    • Minor clean-up, such as small marks, cables, light switches and reflections

    Additional retouching is available on request and charged at CHF 150 per hour:

    • Removing furniture, personal items or clutter

    • Sky replacement

    • Adding a fire in the fireplace or images on TV screens

    • Day-to-dusk conversion

    • Virtual staging of empty rooms (quoted individually)

    I’ll always let you know in advance if any images need extra retouching, so the cost is never a surprise.

    • CHF1200 Day

    Depending on the type of shoot, there may be licensing rates for image usage in addition to the day rate. Please contact to discuss: contact@melodysky.com

    • Day rate: CHF600 (Up to 8 hrs)

    • Half Day: CHF330

    • Hourly: CHF90

    • Evenings & Weekends: CHF94

    • CHF 150/hr

    • Food, Accommodation, Travel (Flights, train etc) costs to be covered by client

    • Fuel costs to be covered by client + 0.75/km

  • Models/Talent within my network in Verbier work on the rates below. however on models found externally rates could vary.

    • Non Professional: CHF50hr

    • Professional: CHF100hr

  • The stylists are found externally, so tha rates can vary, also depending on the type of styling and stylists level.

    • Day: CHF800-1200

    For local stylists without any training, who are simply there to help make beds and move furniture and clear clutter CHF50 hr

  • I am very happy to work within your budget. So if you want time taken and lots of images, I can. In some cases, clients want daytime shots and evening shots of the entire chalet, so this may mean coming back on two separate photo shoots.
