OUTDOOR PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Matterhorn Photography Adventure at the Rifugio Teodulo

Capture the Magic of Sunrise, Sunset & the Night Sky
📍Rifugio Teodulo, Italian Side of the Matterhorn
- 21-22 Mars 2025

With Outdoor Photographer Melody Sky & TV Producer Katie Reisz

Imagine waking up at 3,317m with the legendary Matterhorn so close that you could almost touch it. The first light of dawn ignites its sharp recognisable peak, turning the sky into a vibramt painter’s palette of deep purples, soft pinks, and golden hues. The air is crisp, the views are mind-blowing, and the experience? Absolutely unforgettable.

This small-group workshop is designed for adventure-loving photographers who want to refine their sunrise, sunset, and night sky photography skills while enjoying the high-alpine atmosphere of the Rifugio Teodulo. Whether you're a seasoned pro or an eager beginner, this workshop will boost your skills, creativity, and confidence in capturing breathtaking mountain landscapes.

Location

Rifugio Teodulo, Cervinia

Hut elevation: 3,317m

Temperatures to expect at 3,317m in March:
In Zermatt/Cervinia at an altitude of 3,317m, during the winter season the weather can vary but in general you have to be prepared for colder temperatures. During the evening it could drop as low as -20C. So warm clothes for the evenings are recommended to be able to stay outdoors as long as you want to photograph.

Mountain weather can also be unpredictable, with sudden changes, including wind or snow. It's essential to be well prepared, with appropriate layers, including waterproof and windproof outer layers, and equally protection from the sun, which can be surprisingly strong at altitude, even when temperatures are colder.

Nearest airport : Geneva airport from the Swiss side and Milan airport from the Italian side
