Full Moon

Have you heard of the Moon illusion? If not, you should hop over to my news pages and read about it. I have also put up a fantastic short audio clip by NASA explaining it in simple terms. In brief, often when the moon is rising it looks huge. But actually this is our brain playing tricks on us. Scientists believe it is an optical illusion created when our brain process objects close to the horizon when in proximity to buildings and trees. On my news article I explain a simple test you can try and it’s quite strange but amazing to see the results!
