Property Photography Rates

  • My property photography rates are based on my regular day rate. However each property and reason for photographing the property is different, so the time on location may be vary for the same size property.

    Reasons for photographing the property: For Sale, Rental, Magazine, Website.

    Each of these will result in the time varying. For example, if it is simply for sale, you may want only 4-5 wide images taken per room. For a magazine, high end rental or to promote your business, you may want a more artistic style with lots of detail shots. This will obviously take more time.

    So the rates below are just to give you a general idea. Each property will be quoted differently.

    • Day Rate: CHF1800 (Up to 8 hrs)

    • Half Day: CHF990 (Up to 4hrs)

    • Hourly: CHF270

    • Evenings: CHF280hr

    Please note that for an hourly shoot there is a minimum charge not including travel time

    • 1hr is CHF420

    Please note that if you would like more than one property photographed in the same day, additional time will be added in to cover the travel and set up time in between.

    The rates above are basic day rates. They do not include the licensing rates of the images which are calculated individually for each project based on length of time of usage, global location, placement etc.

  • Involves organisation of the project, sourcing models when required and any other organisational/admin work done pre-shoot.

    • 50% of day rate

  • Basic retouching of 6 images per hour shot is included in my basic day rate on real estate,interior photography. This includes importing/exporting, image selection, basic retouching, colour correction etc

    Any retouching above this amount is charged out by the hour.

    • CHF150hr

    Depending on the type of shoot, there may be licensing rates for image usage in addition to the day rate. Please contact to discuss: contact@melodysky.com

    • Day rate: CHF600 (Up to 8 hrs)

    • Half Day: CHF330

    • Hourly: CHF90

    • Evenings & Weekends: CHF94

    • 50% of day rate

    • Food, Accommodation, Travel (Flights, train etc) costs to be covered by client

    • Fuel costs to be covered by client

  • 50% of day rates

  • Models/Talent within my network in Verbier work on the rates below. however on models found externally rates could vary.

    • Non Professional: CHF50hr

    • Professional: CHF100hr

  • The stylists are found externally, so tha rates can vary, also depending on the type of styling and stylists level.

    • Day: CHF800-1200

    For local stylists without any training, who are simply there to help make beds and move furniture and clear clutter CHF50 hr

  • I am very happy to work within your budget. So if you want time taken and lots of images, I can. In some cases, clients want daytime shots and evening shots of the entire chalet, so this may mean coming back on two separate photo shoots.
