The Matterhorn in summer
The Matterhorn is the most recognised mountain in the world. Shaped like a ragged tooth and often with clouds clinging to the top, it is a spectacular creation of nature. I actually intended shooting a night time timelapse of the clouds and stars around the Matterhorn and wasn’t specifically there to shoot daytime stills, but of course, there’s no way I could be there and not take advantage! I stayed up late filming on the mountain. I watched 2 climbers start their ascent at 2am and could see their progression when sped up in my timelapse. And the next day I woke to a breathtaking view. What a vision to wake up to!
