I took my first photograph when I was 4 years old. At age 9 I was given my first camera. I know what it is like to have had a passion for photography from such and early age. I have seen many children take an interest in photography, and with a little direction they could develop into the next professional photographer or at least capture great memories for the family! And I’d love to be the one to try and inspire and guide them.

Course Content
Photography is all around us and part of life. It’s on every device that kids see and use these days! But not many children learn the foundations of photography that make an image that stand out. This course will start by teaching the rules of composition and introduce your child to the exposure triangle, Aperture, Speed and ISO, what these are and how they work together. It will be fun and engaging and they will be allowed to experiment with both basic and professional cameras. Further learning will available if they like the introduction and feel they would like to continue their journey in photography.

Access
The first course will take place at my home studio in Fontenelle. Details will be sent after booking.

Schedule
7-11yrs will do the morning class 10am. - 1pm
12-16yrs will do the afternoon class 2pm - 5pm

Equipment Required: It is recommended that your child bring a camera that they will continue to use if possible so that they can experiment with their new skills at home. However I will also provide equipment that they can use during their course.

The class requires a minimum of 6 children and maximum 8.
There will be two different age groups, 7-11yrs and 12-16yrs.
