Velofest Classic Tour 2023

Well that was fun! On Sunday 4th June, I had just returned from eating my way around the UK for a month. And I was not feeling bike fit! I found no opportunity on my trip to grab a bike and get some time in the saddle. But over the winter I had been invited to take part in the Brevan Howard Velofest 2023 which I committed to, so there was no option to pull out. My very wonderful friend Maria who had agreed to take part with me too, had never even been on a road bike until two days before and we literally did an hours training. But I can safely say that we were both happy that it was an incredible amount of fun and we didn’t let the team down. In fact, I brought my camera and frequently stopped to take some images and then along with Maria we rushed to get ahead to capture more images each time. It was a success!

Thanks to Miguel and the rest of the team at Brevan Howard. We thoroughly enjoyed your company. And yes, we are looking forward to the next one! Congratulations to all who took part.
