Grand Combin from the 'Backside'
One of the most spectacular viewpoints in Verbier is from the top lift station of Mont Fort at 3330m. The 360-degree panorama is absolutely mind-blowing. Not only can you see the Grand Combin pictured here, but The Matterhorn and the Mont Blanc are amongst the many other peaks that can be viewed from up here. We took the famous backcountry route, the Backside Mt Fort to access endless couloirs, glaciers and rolling powder fields in which to shoot photos. The route is very technical and requires experience.
